Run4Real
A downloadable game
A quick parkour platformer where you jump between red and black blocks to climb to the top. Simple, short, and fun—a small test of timing and precision.
This project is a short parkour game created to explore and test a simple jumping mechanic. Players must jump between red and black platforms, proceeding their way to the top of the map. The game is intentionally minimal, focusing on movement and mechanics rather than complex visuals or narrative. By stripping down the experience, the goal was to emphasize the core mechanic and produce something straightforward yet engaging. While small in scope, it offers a quick, fun challenge for players who enjoy precision platforming. There is less gravity during each jump as a way to make the jumps higher and farther, but also more challenging for players to land on each platform.

I think the colour coded platforms was nice, but I'm not sure if the green checkpoints being very difficult to reach was intentional or not.
I was unable to play this game, but it seemed to have some interesting mechanics and great level design.
Great update, I like the respawn and new colours (red is bad, green saves), the friction is a little high so it’s hard to jump, but the save points make it even better so you don’t lose all your progress. the multiple levels are awesome
Excellent parkour mechanics. I was able to finish at the top.
totally gave me roblox obby vibes. the respawn point can be implemented and will improve gameplay experience. makes me wanna get to the top!
Edit: Love that you added a respawn! I also appreciated the checkpoints and how the player has to parkour to get to the checkpoint. The next level was scary and exponentially harder LOL. It's a good challenge for the player!
Fun parkour and smooth mechanics! Although I think it crashed when I fell off of the platforms. -Mary
